Our Technical Specs
Comply365’s architecture and deployment follows the Software as a Service (SaaS)
industry model. It is a multi-tenant application that is designed to present each
client with their own impenetrable silo of data, while taking advantage of the low-cost
strategy of a single code-base and single deployed application.
Infrastructure
Hosted at Rackspace's world-class data center in Ashburn, VA, a multi-homed Tier
1 network provider with fully redundant power and HVAC systems.
Rackspace's Service Level Agreement guarantees 100% uptime and 1-Hour hardware replacement.
Weekly full backup of system state, databases, and document storage system plus
daily differential/incremental backup with offsite backup storage and rotation.
Automated OS patching.
Managed firewall and VPN for administrative access. Fully monitored and audited
by Comply365 and Rackspace.
Security audits performed by third party.
SSL Certificate issued by trusted authority.
Individual URL monitoring to ensure accessibility of each site.
Multi-Tenant Application
Each client has its own:
Application instance with its own isolated application thread.
Separate physical database, and only its instance of the application holds the respective
login credentials.
Reporting services account for accessing the report engine.
Sub-domain of comply365.net, and this sub-domain in turn selects the application
which sets up the entire stack of security credentials ensuring that the browser
will only be able to access the associated silo of data and files.
CDN (Content Distribution Network)
Comply365 utilizes CDN technology to provide scalable high-bandwidth delivery of
the files that have been placed under control of the application. This distribution
network also provides the streaming services for video and audio streaming in both
Flash and Windows Media formats. The CDN also supports the disaster recovery plan
in that it contains a mirror of the entire Comply365 file system and copies of its
database backups. Clients can be given FTP access to their own storage silo from
which they can perform remote backups of their files and database.
